Leaves? Did you say leaves?

Sue rakes yet more leaves…

I thought I might miss the chance to capture leaf clearing on the camera. What a mistake. It has been another week of leaves. Leaves barrowed, leaves raked, leaves lifted one by one, leaves on the roof, leaves swept. And there are more…

This is a cheat really as it comes from last week. Ceri was polishing in the Green Library.

Jan has been roped in to wrap artworks, meticulously making corners to protect the paintings

While the house is being cleaned I’ve had a fantastic chance to record the conservation in process.

A bonfire that just wouldn’t light

I tottered over a makeshift bridge to get across a deep gully (and I had silly artist’s shoes on not my wellies) in order to see the bonfire. What I didn’t know was that when they had to use a pallet to get the fire going – it was the makeshift bridge.  It was a long way to jump (ever heard of burning your bridges?)

1pm prompt – LUNCHTIME.

I leave my camera strapped to somebody’s body and then I disappear to get myself out of the shot – hiding behind a tree or door, having a coffee, buying fudge in the shop – and when I come back the camera and person are gone. If it was a gardener at least I know where to find them…. It is very exciting to download the footage when I get home – I have no idea at all what will have been captured. Many of you participants are getting the hang of the camera and I much appreciate the care I see is being taken to position yourselves away from the sun, or on occasion you pause to look at something interesting. I am beginning to feel it is a real collaboration – I hope you do?

I’ve got lots of footage that I haven’t managed to sort through yet. So I haven’t got all the stills posted here that I should have. I will do them soon! Keep coming back….

  1. Hey there! This is my first visit to your blog! We are a team of volunteers and starting a new initiative
in a community in the same niche. Your blog provided us valuable
information to work on. You have done a marvellous job!

  2. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a
comment is added I get three emails with the same comment.

Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
    Appreciate it!
